She rose to fame in the Arab world as runner up for Miss Lebanon and later with release of her debut album Huwa az-Zaman (Time). She was also the winner of the title of Miss South Lebanon at age sixteen only.

Anara Gupta

Anara Gupta was born in August 1986. She is an Indian model and actress who won the "Miss Jammu" beauty pageant in 2001. She has been at the center of an ongoing pornography and police scandal in Jammu and Kashmir since 2004.

She is performing in a Bollywood movie Miss Anara related with her life and produced by K K Yadava.

Neha Dhupia was born on August 27, 1980 in Cochin. She is an Indian model and actress. She was crowned Miss India in 2002 and competed at Miss Universe 2002, placing in the top ten.

She rose to popularity with her bold role in the movie Julie and often considered a sex symbol in Bollywood movies.

Jharana Bajracharya

Jharana Bajracharya is a Nepali model-turned-film actress. She was crowned Miss Nepal in 1997, at the age of sixteen. She was also the first representative for Nepal at Miss World.

Sayali Bhagat

Sayali Bhagat was the winner of the Femina Miss India World 2004 contest. She entered the modeling industry, followed by bollywood and will soon appear in her first hindi film The Train, co-staring Emraan Hashmi and Geeta Basra. The movie is scheduled to released in the summer of 2007.

Aishwarya Rai married to Abhishek Bachchan today on 20th April 2007. The much-publicised wedding has been solemnised at Amitabh Bachchan's home Prateeksha, in suburban Juhu of Mumbai, India.

Zeenat Aman

Zeenat Aman was born on November 19, 1951. She is an Indian Bollywood actress of late 70s. Aman graduated from St. Xavier's School in Mumbai, India and went to Los Angeles for her higher studies. Upon returning to India, she first took a job as a journalist for Femina magazine and then later on moved on to modeling. She was the second runner up in the Miss India Contest and went on to win the Miss Asia Pacific in 1970. She was considered a sex symbol during the 70s.

Aman's sultry persona was a contrast to many of the more conservative stars of the era. At a time when heroines were obedient wives and lovers on screen, Aman was drawn to more unique roles - she was cast as the opportunist who deserts her jobless lover for a millionaire (Roti Kapda Aur Makaan), the ambitious girl who considers aborting her baby to pursue a career (Ajnabee), the happy hooker (Manoranjan), the disenchanted hippie (Hare Rama Hare Krishna), the girl who falls in love with her mother's one-time lover (Prem Shastra), and a woman married to a caustic cripple but involved in an extramarital relationship (Dhund). She managed to balance these roles with acting in more conventional films such as Chori Mera Kaam, Chhaila Babu, Dostana and Lawaaris.

She appears rarely on screen now. She acted in Kaizad Gustad's film Boom in 2003 which also starts Amitabh Bachchan, Jackie Shroff, Gulshan Grover, Padma Lakshmi, Madhu Sapre and Katrina Kaif.

Rachel Smith of Miss Tennessee was crowned Miss USA 2007 by outgoing titleholder Tara Conner. The 56th Miss USA pageant, was held in Los Angeles, California, on March 23, 2007. Rachel Renee Smith was born on April 18, 1985 in Panama.
